HE-744 Research Methods in Health Professions Education

Prerequisites: Completion or concurrent enrollment in HP-712 and HE-713. This course will introduce students to the general principles of the major modes of inquiry in contemporary educational research. They will gain insights into the relative strengths and weaknesses for quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods approaches. The course will enable students to become better consumers of educational research and to learn how to prepare a mixed methods research proposal.
