Center for Interprofessional Studies and Innovation

The Center for Interprofessional Studies and Innovation (CIPSI) launched on January 11, 2011, as a platform for leaders in the health professions to collaborate with peers. Together, they aim to develop new educational systems that will ultimately improve patient care.

It is clear that the future of health care depends upon creating teams of professionals that function smoothly. CIPSI provides a bridge to coordinate interprofessional efforts across the MGH Institute and to foster a spirit of cooperation. Its components embrace the full spectrum of learners.

For undergraduate students:

• Ann W. Caldwell President's Lecture: Interprofessional Rounds
• Simulation and standardized patients
