CD-723 Language, Culture & Cognition

Program Prerequisites or by consent. Models of human language and cognition are presented. Attention is devoted to the various levels of language, including phonology, morphology, syntax, semantics, and pragmatics. Students are also exposed to cognitive operations associated with language processing.
