HE-812 Advanced Topics in Teaching & Learning

Prerequisites: HP-712 or waiver of it. Through practical observation, the study of established research, and consideration of critical perspectives, learners will define the formal curriculum, describe the informal curriculum, and illuminate the hidden curriculum in their particular contexts. They will consider the merits, applications, and challenges of established and emerging educational models and strategies, with a special focus on the impact (both positive and negative) of the hidden curriculum.
