Prerequisites: None. This course presents the knowledge management principles and techniques relevant to the clinical documentation process. Emphasis will be placed on theories and applications of knowledge management, the knowledge management process, applications of information technologies in knowledge management, knowledge repositories, knowledge leadership roles and skills, codification methods, and clinical documentation as an enabler of evidence-based practice.
