NLE-760 Teaching Practicum - Track Specific

This culminating course provides a teaching practicum with an opportunity for learners to apply evidence-based principles of teaching, learning, and assessment to personal teaching goals in a unique learning environment of their choosing. Under the guidance of and in collaboration with an experienced nurse educator, participants engage in goal setting around personal areas of improvement. Students are expected to plan, implement, and evaluated the effectiveness of at least one teaching session reflective of the program’s curriculum. A customized plan is created that may include coaching, observation and feedback to improve the participant's teaching practices. Reflections are shared with online classmates, and required readings are specific to learner goals.
