NP-725 Veteran Centric Primary Care

Prerequisites: NS-621, NS-622, NS-660, NS 661, NS-663, NS-664, NS-665, or BSN status. Co-requisites: This course should be taken concurrently with NP-760N and NP-715N. This course provides students with a comprehensive overview of institutional and environmental issues to be considered when providing primary care for veterans within the Veteran Healthcare Administration (VHA), as well as other non-VA primary care settings. Emphasis is placed on improving quality of life through ongoing prevention and treatment of acute and chronic health conditions in our Veteran population.
