OT-774 Practicum: OT Center

Prerequisites: Successful completion of all Year 1 and Summer 2-OTD Coursework. Under the supervision of an occupational therapy (OT) faculty member or clinical instructor, students will plan and carry out evidence-based individual or group assessment and treatment with clients with physical, cognitive, sensory, and/or psychosocial impairments in the OT center. Students will gain experience in the following OT practice components: documentation, assessment, intervention, and re-evaluation or discharge. Students will also participate in interprofessional collaborations to deliver services to clients.
