PA-750 Patient Care I

Prerequisites: Matriculation into the MPAS Program.  Students begin to develop the skills required to conduct an effective patient interview and  medical history and to perform a comprehensive physical examination. Students learn to document the patient encounter and examination using a variety of written notes and receive an introduction to the use of the electronic medical record. Principles of preventive care are introduced.
