PT-659 Therapeutic Exercise Lab

Prerequisite: Successful completion of all required courses to date. In this laboratory course, students will apply principles of therapeutic exercise to patient cases with diagnoses that have been previously studied. The patient cases will focus on musculoskeletal limb dysfunction and cardiovascular and pulmonary impairments The influence of co-morbidities, age and healing status on the choice and progression of exercise interventions will be addressed. Cases will progress along the continuum of care from acute to home programs.
