HCD-554 Introduction to Audiology

Prerequisite: None. Beginning with a review of anatomy and physiology of the ear, this course addresses pathologies of the auditory system and basic assessment of the auditory system. Auditory disorders are discussed in the context of hearing screening, diagnostic assessment, physiological procedures, pediatric evaluation, and differential diagnosis and rehabilitation of hearing loss.
