NLE-760 Teaching Practicum - Track Specific

Prerequisites: HE-712, HE-713, HE-715, NLE-710, NLE-720. This practicum provides students the opportunity to apply evidence-based principles of teaching/learning and assessment/evaluation in educational settings. In collaboration with an expert nurse educator, students develop personal goals for the teaching practicum experience. Students are expected to plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of at least one teaching session reflective of the program’s curriculum. Reflections are shared with online classmates, and required readings are specific to learner goals. A total of 112 practicum hours will be completed.
