NP-862B Dual Primary Care Practicum

Prerequisites: NP-862A, NP-701, NP-758. Pass/Fail and Audit not available. In this second clinical primary care course, the Dual track student refines advanced practice competencies as an Adult/Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.  Consistent with the primary care theory course, students will apply evidence in evaluating and managing wellness, acute, chronic, and complex health conditions for diverse individuals and populations 13 years and older within healthcare systems. Working with a preceptor, students will collaborate in the management of equitable advanced practice nursing care in a clinical experience.
