PT 601N Fund Pt/Client Management 1
Prerequisites: None. Using patient cases and active learning strategies, students are introduced to principles of task analysis and motor control/motor learning, as well as body systems that support these functions. Principles of clinical decision making and the frameworks used by physical therapists to organize their
approach to patient management are presented. The influence of individual differences on practice
and the need for inter-professional team-based, patient-centered care are central tenets of this course.
