BHBIO 515 Toxicology
Prerequisites: BHBIO-454, equivalent, or consent of instructor; BHA&P1-456, equivalent, or consent of instructor. Learners in this course will apply the basic principles of toxicology such as absorption, biotransformation, mechanism, and elimination to both organ and non-organ specific toxicity. There is also opportunity to examine the individual and public health impacts of various
toxic agents including pesticides, metals, venom/poison, plants, and clinical toxicology.
