HRS 929 Reproducible Research in R

Prerequisites: Students will have completed a Master's degree or higher and undergraduate or graduate level basic statistics course(s). Corequisites: Students will be enrolled in the PhD RS program or have permission of instructor to register. This hands-on 1-credit course will introduce students to the statistical programming language R, introduce basic data wrangling skills and provide a primer on data visualization using the ggplot2 library. These topics will be introduced in the context of contemporary issues in quantitative methods and health sciences research: reproducibility, open science, and the use of AI.
