MGH IHP Student Assistance Program (SAP)
Current full and part-time IHP students can access the Student Assistance Program (SAP), a service provided through Mass General Brigham Employee Assistance Program. While the department name, MGB EAP, implies this service is only for employees of the MGB network, services are also open to students of the IHP. The SAP offers free, confidential assessments and short-term problem focused counseling, and referral to help with all types of personal, family, school, and work-related concerns. The main EAP office is at 175 Cambridge Street, Boston, MA 02114 in the Charles River Plaza at MGH, but they also have space in the IHP Office of Student Affairs and Services, Building 34, First Floor, Room 102, Boston, MA 02129, and at different MGB locations in the Greater Boston area, the North Shore, and on Cape Cod.
