1.1.1 Introduction

Personal Advisors: Students are assigned a faculty advisor who serves as the primary faculty contact throughout their program of study. Advisors have the critical role to assist in the coordination of student growth and academic progress, and provide referrals related to academic and professional development. As part of the Institute community, advisors adhere to our Core Values, in partnership with students to create a safe, welcoming educational environment that prepares them for leadership in health professions.

Academic Advisors: The Program Director and a Senior Faculty member are the core academic advisors who provide academic advising to all students with the primary purpose of assisting with registration and course selection and progression towards graduation.
