3.1.2 Required Coursework
Each student will work closely with the student's Primary Academic Advisor and Dissertation Chair to create an individually designed plan of study that will enable the student to acquire the additional skills and knowledge to conduct research in the student's area of interest. The Mentored Research and Dissertation Seminar sequence (7 credits) is designed so that adequate time is allotted between courses and across semesters for the completion of the required three (3) research articles that comprise the dissertation. It is the responsibility of the Primary Academic Advisor to manage each student’s Program of Study with oversight from the departmental’s Executive Committee as needed.
