32. Awarding of the Master of Physician Assistant Studies Degree
Granting of the Master of PA Studies degree is contingent upon successful completion of all required courses (86 credits) with a passing grade) (“C+” or better or “Pass” in a pass/fail course) and a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0.
- The pre-clinical comprehensive written and practical examination must be passed, and all first-year courses successfully completed in order to progress to the clinical year.
- All clerkships must be successfully completed, and students must successfully pass all associated EORs
- The Clinical year summative written and practical examinations (outlined above) must be passed prior to awarding of the degree. To be considered for graduation, students must submit the required application for graduation by the first week in December prior to their graduation year. Reminders about this process will be sent from the Registrar’s Office prior to the application period.
