8.3.1 Academic Setting
In the academic setting, course faculty or the Academic Advisor may notify the student about inappropriate behaviors with either an oral or written warning. Problem behaviors will also be discussed with the student’s Academic Advisor and the Program Director and with the Director of Clinical Education if issues arise in clinical settings. If inappropriate behaviors are cited on subsequent occasions the Academic Advisor will convene a CARST meeting which will decide the course of action.
