1.2 Transfer of Credit
The HA Program will accept no more than 6 transfer credits and the Program Director has discretion in waiving courses.
Students enrolled in the Health Administration (HA) program may be eligible to transfer up to six (6) graduate-level credit hours from another accredited institution. These credits may be applied toward HA program requirements, subject to approval by the Program Director. Transfer credit will not be granted for courses that:
- Were used to fulfill requirements for a previously completed degree
- Received a grade lower than a B (3.0)
- Were completed more than one year prior to matriculation
Credits must be graduate-level and clearly aligned with the HA curriculum. All transfer requests are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Procedure for Requesting Transfer Credit:
Students must complete a Course Replacement Petition Form and submit the following supporting materials:
- A copy of the original course syllabus
- A written statement explaining how the prior course aligns with HA content and learning outcomes
The Program Director will consult with relevant faculty to review the submitted materials and determine eligibility for transfer. If approved, the Program Director will notify the student and submit the decision to the Registrar’s Office using the Petition for Course Replacement Form.
