Course Exemptions

1. Courses that are required for RN licensure are not eligible for exemptions.
2. Students may only request course exemption from non-clinical graduate level courses for a maximum of six (6) credit hours. The Petition for Course Replacement Form must be completed online.
3. The Program Dean confirms that the course objectives of the submitted course align with and meet the objectives of the course for which the student wishes to obtain exemption. If an exemption is granted, the credits will need to be replaced by elective courses, approved by the Academic Advisor in the School of Nursing.
4. An exemption must be requested within one month of the start of the semester.
