Current Curriculum Plan - with Concentration in Medical Speech Pathology

Total Core Required Credits: 65

(Core courses must be taken for letter grade.)

Minimum credits required for graduation: 72


If students have already completed an undergraduate course in Aural Rehabilitation they must take 2 more credits of electives (9 instead of 7) to reach the total of 72 because they do not take CD 751 (Aural Rehabilitation).

The practicum committee will inform students about their external practicum course numbers.  If students are placed in their first external practicum in the Summer of Year 1 they will register for CD-771 in the Summer, then CD-872 in the Fall or Spring of Year 2, and CD-873 in the Spring or Summer of Year 2.

Some students will not begin their first external practicum until the Fall of Year 2, in which case they will register for CD-871 then.
