NS-660 Nursing Practice: Process and Skills
Baccalaureate degree and completion of all program pre-requisites. Course letter grade and Pass/Fail for clinical component. This course introduces students to the professional role in nursing. The importance of scientific inquiry, critical thinking and clinical judgment will be explored in the acute care setting. Students will utilize assessments of adult and geriatric population for problem identification, intervention and outcome evaluation. Students develop specific psychomotor skills in a variety of settings.
