HP-818 IMPACT 1: Interprofessional Practice

Prerequisites: None. This course introduces students to providing person-centered care and services in interprofessional collaborative teams. Working in small-group cohorts with students representing a variety of disciplines, learners explore the values and ethics of being a health professional, learn about their own and others' professional roles and responsibilities, and develop the ability to communicate and work effectively as teams as they analyze case material, engage in problem-solving, and recommend interventions or solutions.
