NH-730 Outcomes Measurement

Prerequisites: Advanced practice level, DNP-850, DNP-845, or by faculty permissions.  Pass/Fail available. This course addresses learning priorities in systems oriented outcomes measurement for healthcare quality improvement specified by the Quality and Safety Education for Nurses (QSEN) core competencies and the American Association of Colleges in Nursing (AACN) Doctoral Essentials II-IV. It focuses on theoretical and foundational concepts and methodologies needed by the DNP graduate to lead innovative outcomes measurements that support applied research and healthcare improvement science, linking outcomes to improvements in microsystems, mesosystems, and macrosystems.
