iii. Reappointment and Promotion of Non-voting Faculty

In the December preceding the end of the non-voting faculty member’s appointment period, the Office of the Provost will notify the dean or director of upcoming non-voting faculty appointment renewals. The dean or director shall write a brief memo justifying reappointment at current or higher rank and send it along with the candidate’s current curriculum vitae to the provost. The provost will review the memo, approve or reject it, and notify the non-voting faculty member and the dean or director of the decision. The length of reappointment for non-voting faculty members may be for up to five years.
