HE-920 Educ Theory & Implic for IPE

Prerequisite:  Enrollment in HPEd PhD Program. This course will explore the theoretical bases of established and emerging educational concepts, with emphasis on their application in the health professions. Utilizing best practices in teaching and learning, students will engage in projects that prepare them to effectively plan a creative and transformative educational program. The course will cover the implications of educational theories and frameworks for interprofessional education and practice along with considering how they can be applied within the two complex, interconnected systems of education and health care.
