HBIO-452 Biology 2

Prerequisites: HBIO-450, equivalent, or consent of instructor. The course expands upon the principles examined in Biology 1. The course first focuses on evolutionary biology, the origin of species, phylogenetics, the diversity of life, and how form correlates to function. The second portion of the course focuses on general physiological principles and body systems including digestion, circulation, and the immune, renal, endocrine, reproductive, and nervous systems.
