HBIO-453 Biology 2 - Lab

Prerequisite: HBIO-450, equivalent, or consent of instructor. This lab course is designed to complement the concepts covered in Biology 2. Students will utilize a lab kit to conduct hands-on experiments. The lab also incorporates discussion of concepts and results of experiments conducted by the students. Topics covered include Ecological interactions, bacteria, fungi, invertebrates and vertebrates, and animal systems including the sensory, nervous, circulatory, and respiratory systems. Assessments include interactive discussions, lab reports and midterm and final exams.
