Transition to Nursing Practice
Prerequisites: Satisfactory completion of all 1st, 2nd, and 3rd semester courses.
This course facilitates transition into the role of the professional nurse. This precepted experience allows students to practice leadership skills and make sound clinical judgments while providing evidence-based care in the management of a group of patients. The course will prepare students to coordinate interprofessional patient care.
