DA 820 Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

Prerequisite: DA-620. "Introduction to Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning" focuses on integrating core AI and ML concepts with applications and case studies in the healthcare sector. The course will explore the theory, design and practical healthcare system applications which can be used to improve clinical and operational decision-making. Students will gain an understanding of the field of data science and the role of the data scientist and the intersection with data analytics. Current and futuristic applications of the AI will be examined, including the statistical and analytical foundations of machine and deep learning.
