HE 946 Leadership in Health Professions Education: Personal to Global Perspectives

This course enables development of critical leadership skills needed by health professionals in interprofessional educational and clinical settings, in both the public and private sector. Learners will apply evidence-based concepts, different aspects of leadership theory, styles, influences of organizational culture, decision-making, planning, and strategic analysis. Scholars will explore how leadership influences the intersection of current and emerging trends in health professions education, including innovation and change in patient care, public policy, and economic factors.
