3.1.1.1 Waivers of Required Courses Requests Handled on a Case by Case Basis
In general, required doctoral courses may not be waived or transferred in from courses previously taken at other institutions. However, students may petition to waive a course if they can document that they have met the objectives of a required course based on prior doctoral-level coursework. The decision whether to accept the waiver petition will be made by the PhD departmental Executive Committee. Policies related to the MS-HPEd courses for those in the MS-PhD Program are available in the MS-HPEd Program Manual.
