3 - Admissions

3.1 Admissions Status

Students admitted to the AuD program have met the admissions and undergraduate course requirements to begin graduate training. Only full-time students are accepted to the AuD program. The program is entirely residential, and all students must begin the program in the summer semester.  A commitment to full-time training and study is necessary to accommodate the continuous three-year program of study.

3.2 Non-Degree Applicants

Applicants with an undergraduate or graduate degree in a major other than Communication Disorders are required to complete the courses listed in Table 1 prior to beginning graduate coursework. Students with an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders may also lack one or two courses. All pre-requisite coursework must be completed prior to enrollment with a grade of B- or better.  The decision to enroll students with outstanding course requirements is made by the admissions committee on a case-by-case basis. All required courses are offered through the online prerequisite program at IHP.
