2.3 Course Exemptions
In general, exemptions are not granted except in rare circumstances as deemed appropriate by the Graduate Certificate Program Director and faculty of record for the course for which an exemption is requested. If granted an exemption for a course, the student may need to take an appropriate alternate course to meet the required 15 or 20 credits for program completion. The student must meet with the Graduate Certificate Program Director to discuss positive alternatives to taking the course.
