6.3 Program Duration
To support academic progression, advising, and preparation for professional school applications, learners enrolled in the Post-Baccalaureate Pre-Health Certificate Program are expected to complete their certificate within a defined timeframe.
- Minimum Duration: Learners must complete a minimum of two semesters of enrollment in the certificate program. This ensures adequate time for academic development, engagement with advising, and completion of prerequisite coursework in a logical sequence.
- Maximum Duration: Learners must complete all certificate requirements within nine semesters (approximately three calendar years) of their initial enrollment. This timeframe accounts for flexible scheduling and part-time study, while supporting currency of knowledge and alignment with admissions expectations in health professions education.
- Continuous Enrollment: Students are encouraged to maintain continuous enrollment. Breaks longer than two consecutive semesters may require reapplication or academic review.
