NP-863C Dual Women's Health Practicum

Prerequisite: NP-752, NP-863A, NP-863B. Pass/Fail and audit option not available. In this Women’s Health/Gender Related Nurse Practitioner clinical course, the dual Adult Gerontology Primary Care/Women’s Health and Gender-Related student refines and demonstrates advanced practice competence for entry to practice. Consistent with the theory course, students will apply evidence in evaluation and management of health maintenance, sexual and reproductive health, routine, and complex gynecological and obstetric health conditions for diverse individuals and populations. Under the supervision of a preceptor, students will lead equitable advanced practice nursing care of diverse individuals and populations 13 years and older within healthcare systems.
