OH-785 DEI for HP Student

Prerequisites: None. This course provides students an opportunity to explore the individual lens and self-reflection influencing the perceptions, access, and delivery of services for diverse groups and populations including but not limited to socioeconomic status, race and culture. Students identify and develop strategies for difficult scenarios related to microaggressions, positionality and intersectionality in clinical practice. Action plans for influencing equity and inclusion as a professional in preparation for in service delivery in the health professions are created.
