OT-651 Occupation, Community & Culture
Prerequisites: OT-630. Pass/Fail, Audit not available. This course examines current research and theory in human occupation and provides an opportunity to explore occupational patterns in cultural experiences. Students will gain an understanding of how meaning, performance skills, and performance patterns differ in varied community and cultural contexts. Emphasis is placed on diversity and the physical, cognitive, emotional, and psychological functioning of clients as they relate to lifestyle choices and meaningful occupation.
