OT 771 Occupational Therapy in Physical Dysfunction
Prerequisites: OT-622, OT-650, OT-652. Pass/Fail, Audit not available. This course is an introduction to occupational therapy practice for clients with physical dysfunction. Emphasis will be placed on theoretical foundations of physical rehabilitation and the assessment and treatment of clients in various physical rehabilitation settings. Students will learn to select, grade and modify treatment for clients with a variety of rehabilitation diagnoses, including the application of physical agent modalities. Course includes laboratory sessions with peers, clients, and simulation experiences.
