BH 400 Pathways in Practice: Interprofessional Teams
Prerequisites: None. This course introduces learners to the principles and practices of effective interprofessional collaboration in healthcare. Through case studies, simulations, and team-based projects, students will explore the roles and responsibilities of various health professionals, communication strategies for coordinated care, and models of team-based practice. Emphasis is placed on understanding how interprofessional teamwork improves patient outcomes, reduces errors, and enhances the quality of care across diverse settings. Students will
begin developing the collaborative skills and professional identity necessary for future roles in health-related fields.
