CT 602 Electrophysiology
Prerequisites: None. This course is designed to cover basic and advanced concepts of electrophysiology and electrical engineering. Students will learn the interpretation of basic ECG waveforms and will build a strong foundation of the cardiac conduction system and interpretation of normal and abnormal rhythms. Students will be introduced to cardiac implantable electronic devices, including implantable cardiac monitors (ICM), pacemakers (PPM), implantable cardiac defibrillators (ICD), and cardiac resynchronization therapy (CRT), and their functions.
