12.2.4. Exam Failures

Successful didactic course completion requires that a student achieve at least a score of 77% or greater on the course CAT.

Failure to achieve at least a 77% passing score on a first course CAT administered may result in an opportunity to retest with a reflexive CAT.

Students will be permitted ONE opportunity each semester to take a reflexive CAT. Reflexive exams will occur within 24-48 hours of the originally scheduled exam and a student must score > 77% in order to successfully pass the course.

  • Successful passing of the reflexive CAT will result in successful course completion and a documented exam score of 77%, regardless of the actual score achieved
  •  Failure to pass a reflexive CAT will result in a course failure and referral to the SDC according to policy 5.4
