20.1 Program Complaints
20.1.1. Submission of Program Complaints
Students who have complaints about any aspect of the Genetic Counseling Program may speak with their Faculty Advisor, the Program Director, and/or SGA (Student Government Association) class representative to the faculty, to determine if there is a reasonable communication and solution that can be achieved.
If the student would like to pursue an anonymous process through the Office of Student and Alumni Services (OSAS), here is the link for the incident reporting mechanism: https://www.mghihp.edu/current-students-student-resources/student-incident-report. If a student wishes to submit a general complaint, describe a concerning experience, or an apparent violation of MGH Institute policy, the student can do so using the Student Incident Report form.

20.1.2. Resolution of Program Complaints
All program complaints brought to the Program Director or SGA representative will be followed and resolved via verbal and/or written communication.
Staff in the Office of Student and Alumni Affairs (OSAS) will follow up on all reports received via the Student Incident Report. All reports are treated with utmost confidentiality; in certain cases, it may be necessary for OSAS to share incident details with academic program leaders and/or MGH Security. OSAS staff will discuss the follow-up process with the individual(s) submitting the report.
