Travel
Students are responsible for all travel to and from fieldwork education experiences. This includes long-distance travel (e.g., to an out-of-state facility for full-time fieldwork experience) and/or local travel (e.g., daily, or weekly travel for a Level I (part-time) or Level II (full-time) experience. Many fieldwork education facilities are not accessible by public transportation. Students assigned to the same site for Fieldwork may have varied hours based on different unit or supervisor schedules. Every student should anticipate needing access to a car for some part of the curriculum's fieldwork education component.
Coordinating travel and arranging ride sharing are solely the responsibility of students. Due to institutional policies, IHP faculty and staff cannot participate in or facilitate these arrangements in any way.
Students are responsible for contacting the facility and/or using the Internet to seek information regarding directions and transportation to the facility.
