NP 871B Hlthcr of the Child Practicum

Prerequisites: NP-721, NP-739, NP-871A. In this second clinical course, students continue clinical learning experiences in affiliated pediatric healthcare settings to refine advanced practice competencies in their development for the role of Pediatric Primary Care Nurse Practitioner, emphasizing common acute child and adolescent concerns. Students demonstrate increasing accountability for professional practice and clinical judgment. Seminar activities continue to provide opportunities for reflection and integration of theory and practice.
