NP 874C Adlt Gero Acute Care Practicum

Prerequisites: NP-874B, NP-834. Co-requisite: NP-854. In this final clinical practicum for the Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program, the student demonstrates competency for entry to practice. Consistent with the theory course, students will appraise evidence in the evaluation and management of acute, chronic, and complex health conditions.  Working with a preceptor, students will lead equitable advanced practice nursing care of diverse individuals and populations 13 years and older within healthcare systems. Prerequisite: NP-734.  Prerequisite or Corequisite: NP-834. Practicum requirement III for the Adult Gerontology Acute Care NP track.
