NP 874B Adlt Gero Acute Care Practicum

Prerequisites: NP-734, NP-874A. Co-Requisite: NP-834. In this second acute care clinical course, the student refines advanced practice competencies as an Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. Consistent with the theory course, students will apply evidence in evaluating and managing acute, chronic, and complex health conditions for diverse individuals and populations 13 years and older within healthcare systems. Working with a preceptor, Students will collaborate in the management of equitable advanced practice nursing care in a clinical experience.
